[Troop1020] Follow-on Regarding Switchbacks (What are They!)

For some that may not know, Switchbacks are the green Scout pants. They are made of a lightweight fabric that is very comfortable and drys quickly. Additional features: built-in belt, plenty of pockets and zips off at the knee for shorts.
For the older Scouts planning to go to NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training) this summer, I believe this is part of the attire (required for the week). The sale is only through May 15th. You can purchase two pair of Switchbacks for $43.26 (adult size, not sure what the price is for youth sizes). This is a good price since it's a buy one, get one free. If you are interested in the price for youth size or to confirm store hours, I'd suggest calling one of the Scout Stores, one on Harry Hines (214)902-2001 and other on McDermott (214)495-0306.
Remember switchbacks are not required for younger scouts or those not attending NYLT. Blue jeans and khaki pants/shorts are fine for Monday meetings. (No basketball shorts please.)
