[Troop1020] Campout This Weekend - Info for you!

This weekend's campout at Camp Wisdom will start on Saturday instead of  
Friday! Meet at the Scout Hut at 7:00 AM Saturday morning to load gear.  Departure 
is planned for 7:45 AM.
 
This is "summer camp shake down" meaning you should pack your gear as if  for 
summer camp. Suggest a large plastic "tub" with a lid that will not leak in  
water if it is left in the rain. Some of the lids with sliding latches will 
leak  where the latches slide. We will also practice setting up your mosquito 
net  frame and net, so make sure to bring it as well. 
 
Attached is a suggested summer camp gear list. 
 
The exception of what to bring this weekend is the cot. We cannot use cots  
in our troop tents as they are not big enough and they tend to poke holes in 
the  floor.
 
Make sure you have swim suit (it's on the list!) and sunscreen. And your  
Troop 1020 water bottle.
 
(Note: if you are not going to summer camp but just joining us for a fun  
weekend then you can pack however you desire.)
