[Troop1020] Summer Camp, and Summer Camp Shakedown

Greetings Scouts and parents,
   
  I am attaching a few documents that will be useful when planning your Scouts trip to summer camp this year.  First is the mosquito net frame instructions, second is the list of summer camp gear your Scout should bring with them, third is a class 2 medical form that your Scout will need before attending summer camp, and finally a class 3 medical form for anyone over 40 years of age attending summer camp.  The class 2, and 3 medical forms must be filled out and signed by a Doctor.  It is mandatory for all trips longer than a weekend campout.
   
  For those Scouts who went to summer camp last year, this is a reminder of what you will need to bring.  Not only to summer camp, but to our June camp out (20-22) which will be our summer camp shake down.  It's very important for all scouts, but especially those who have not gone to summer camp to attend both the shake down this month, and summer camp next month.  If you have not paid for summer camp or selected your merit badges please contact Mrs. Garza asap.
   
  Monday night 6/9 I will bring my summer camp gear so you can get a visual of what we're going for, and explain the reason behind each piece of gear.  I will also be able to answer questions concerning summer camp.  If you or your Scout has never attended summer camp and are unsure about what to bring, please take a few minutes after the Scout meeting to attend this "meeting."  Should be only 5-10 minutes long depending on how many questions you all have.
   
  If you have any questions please either respond to this e-mail or bring them to the Scout meeting Monday night.
