Dear Troop:

 

It got home a few minutes ago to learn that my cousin Aundria Woolard's
oldest son Ben Woolard (age 25) died at 8:17 p.m. tonight.  

 

My cousin Rick Turner's funeral will be Thursday morning in Russellville,
AR.  I assume Ben's funeral will be Saturday since we're dealing with the
same family.

Dear Troop:

 

It's been a tough last 3 days for the Pollard Family

My aunt Gladys Pollard died Friday morning 4/4 with cancer, and her funeral
was this afternoon (4/6) in Arkansas.

 

My cousin Rick Turner was rushed from Russellville, AR on Thursday (4/3) to
The Univ. of Ark Medical Center in Little Rock and after a valiant effort
with Leukemia, he passed away this evening (4/6) at 6:45 p.m.  Funeral
arrangements pending for sometime this week.  I will be attending the
funeral.

 

Ben Woolard (my 1st cousin Aundi's oldest son and 1st cousin of Rick also)
is day to day.  He has had 3 seizures in 2 days.  His blood pressure and
heart rate has been dropping daily for the last week.  Ben has cancer and is
in Rockwall.

 

Please remember the Pollard, Turner and Woolard families in your prayers.

 

This brings me to this, I am iffy for the Thursday Troop Committee meeting
(4/10) and the Camporee (4/11-13).  If am in Arkansas for Rick's funeral
please apply my payment for food to Tony Gobar.  I'm sure you will welcome
Tony as a Troop adult.

 

Because of the pending funeral Please put on the agenda for the Committee
Meeting and from the next PLC about the next OA ordeal in May.  The Ordeals
will be done by Chapters and we will need several Scouts and Adults that are
OA members to help in the Ordeal.  We are one of the larger Troops and we
really need to be involved.

 

Tony can fill you in with more precise deals by this e-mail or at the
Camporee.
